This can't be explained. It's just not true, and nobody seems to have
any idea where the original "evidence" for this statement came form in
the first place.
But just imagine if it -were- true... The possibilities are truly
mind-boggling.
You could take that unused 90%, and just get rid of it. This would
free up a bunch of useful space that you could use for other things. I
personally would use it as a place to keep my keys, wallet and lunch
sack. That way, my backpack wouldn't be so heavy (right now, carrying
that around is giving me a pain in the neck), and my pockets would be
empty so nothing would poke me when I sat down (which gives me a pain
in the ass).
All in all, i think the world would be a much more pleasant place if
we really did use only 10% of our brain. But it seems we're stuck with
all 100% of the damn thing.
For now anyway....
