isolated paralysis of m. infraspinatus

I have a question for anyone who knows someone to have experience with an
isolated paralysis of the infraspinatus on the non-dominant side due to
nerve damage of unknown origin.

If the nerve damage is repairable, but the muscle the nerve should be
stimulating has completely atrofied, does anyone know if it's realistic for
me to hope for a cure, maybe even a muscle-transplant?

Sincerely,

Richard.
