Along similar lines, what are people's thoughts on insomnia and
light-sleepness? I get occasional bouts of horrible insomnia where I
just don't fall asleep all night long, but a more persistant problem is
that I am simply a light sleeper. It takes me between one and three
hours to fall asleep on a regular basis, and I am apparantly an
extremely light sleeper; it isn't difficult to wake me up and when I do
wake up I'm really up (call me a morning person), so I like to joke that
I'm a noctural morning person, a rare combination. It doesn't bother me
too much as I seem to get by on less sleep that most people (6 hours a
night does me fine and I can handle 5 hours a night for several nights
before I start feeling tired), but it is distracting since the periodic
insomniatic attacks make me virtually nonfunctional the following day
(for obvious reasons).
Opinions?
