For which boris recommended using "Websters Dictionary of Contemporary
English". Of course "Oxford: Advanced Learner's Dictionary" would be
sufficient as well.
If I am not mistaken, Alta-Vista has a translation-service as well.
That's not perfect, but it's a start.
It may seem hard at first, but if you want to get into reading papers,
that's probably the only way to go.
