I hate to break in to this and sound foolish, but what other kind of science is
there? I've studied scientific and statistical method for years (however, I am
just a graduate student) and have been very content with the capabilities and
progress shown by the application of 'emperical science'. Unless I am unaware
of a great revolution in some other arena of science, I would guess the
progress made there is self limiting. Fifty papers does not seem that
significant when compared en masse to the contributions of 'emperical science'
as a whole.
I don't mean to be rude, in my experience no one has infinite resources so you
use what works. Its split the atom, got us to the moon, and unraveled the
genome. Telepathy sounds like a great price/performance tool, so if some one
can explain it to me, I'd use it.
