I took an anti-psychotic for 4 months 18 years ago. It's effect on me was
immediate and permanent. It removed my ability to feel deep, tender,
passionate emotions. I've found a few other persons who've had the same
thing happen to them. I'm wondering what a possible mechanism for this is.
I've heard that it might be a destruction of dopamergic receptors. But if
that is the case, wouldn't neurons replace those over time. I'd appreciate
any insight anyone might have on this or suggestions for where to go for
info.
