Faculty postion for a DEVELOPMENTAL BIOLOGIST
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO

The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois at
Chicago (UIC) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the
ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level.  We seek applications from individuals whose
research program emphasizes molecular and genetic approaches to the
understanding of development using plant, animal, or microbial model
systems.  Successful candidates will be expected to pursue a vigorous
independent research program and to contribute to the department/s
undergraduate and graduate teaching efforts.  Review of applications
will begin immediately, and will continue until the position is
filled.   Send a curriculum vitae, a brief summary of research plans,
