                 Neuropsychology and Treatment:
                     After Testing, What?

        20th Annual Conference of the New York Neuropsychology Group;
            joint meeting with the Psychology Section of
                The New York Academy of Sciences.

                       Saturday, May 8, 1999
                  Farkas Auditorium, Alumni Hall,
                New York University Medical Center

"One-size-fits-all" cognitive rehabilitation fits none well. Testing
without prescription for treatment is incomplete. This conference
presents treatment approaches based on careful delineation of
individual needs in the light of current neuroscience findings,
neuropsychological dissection of presenting prooblems, and careful
behavioral observation, in a variety of clinical contexts: acquired and
developmental language problems, acquired and develomental attentional
problems, specific deficits and executive function deficits, in adults
and in children.
