Thinking...VERBAL thought, no doubt. Very NOISY. Lot's of nonsense. There
are MASSIVE areas of your brain dedicated to language. Very specialized.
An epileptic seizure, IS probably like a thunder storm...however.
I don't know. I think the question is largely unanswered. The cognitive
processes are "known"...or at least described. But cognitive science avoids
the tricky question of the underlying physics of thought. Cognitive
psychology....for that matter. Scripts, mental priming, hallucination
perception, but they stay away from where Freud went. (and was wrong by the
way...although a brilliant! scientist)
