memory for technical terms. <<<
Why, written communication is a man made invention. There is no right or wrong
way to spell, people can either understand it or not. If it becomes too much of
an effort to understand something it's because it deviates too much from the
way everyone else spells.
So when you are apologising your are apologising for not being a run of the
mill person who conforms to other people's standards. It also makes you politer
than the people who will probably answer this post :o)
Lots of toddlers put their fists in their mouths or to their faces as they
stamp their feet etc....Perhaps this child just never stopped it. If they are
in a temper when they do it they are probably releasing hormones that don't
allow them to feel the pain of it. He obviously gets a lot of attention from
his parents because he does it. He probably drew blood by accident once and the
attention he got outweighed the resulting pain. If you watch a group of little
ones play and they forget you are there, you can see them search for an adult
sometimes before they display this sort of odd behaviour. If no one pays them
any attention they get board and do something else. It should have been stopped
when he was a toddler, now it will probably have to wait until he is attracted
to the opposite sex.
