or was the 'mirror' with respect to =my own= 'whining'?
try to understand... a man's work is a man's work, and in my case, it's all
i'll ever have to show for having lived.
despite that, i've begged to just be allowed to give it away, with the
promise that, if it was communicated in-full, i'd just 'go away'.
that's as minimal as i could get. i'm under Obligation as Scientist to Honor
Truth... the only way i could minimize things, in the face of that
Obligation, was to offer to forgo anything coming to me. with respect to the
Science, itself, i've no choice.
i am Scientist. with respect to Truth, there's no minimization possible.
Truth includes the ramifications of the understanding with respect to folks'
suffering, and with respect to the havoc that ignorance has wreaked upon
Humanity.
all i could do was minimize the stuff that matters only in my own life.
i tried to do that, and it's =still= the case that such is acceptable to me.
but i've Obligation to Science and to Truth.
while there's life in-me, i'll fail neither... i don't care if my 'whining'
is discomfitting... folks' suffering is so extremely-very-much-more than all
that.
while there's life in-me, i'll not fail them.
