by Oct82, i'd already worked on the problem for 11 years... things just came
together during this one, strangely-warm-for-New-England, October night...
the gap was finally bridged on that night... lying on top of my sleeping
bag, unable to sleep because, underneath the sleeping bag was a concrete
plaza :-)
a gentle police officer dropped in on me, and stayed with me a while, and
checked in on me, obviously, with sincere regard for my personal well-being,
from time to time during the night (you're still in my 'heart', Sir... thank
you.)
