Well, The Cosmic Rape is certainly related to the subject at hand.
Aliens get into the head of this bum and force him to build a machine,
which starts building other machines etc. joining the human race into a
gestalt entity.

Being a pervert, like taking an interest in Sci-Fi, generally requires
an imagination. The primary division of the world is between weird
people and mundanes. Weird people are generally weird in several ways.

(And no, none of the perverts of my acquaintance have an interest in
little boys.)
