delayed and advanced syndrom phase

My curiosity is piqued.  This phrase not familiar to me, at leat not as
any specific condition.  Is this a reference to delayed or advance
phases in ANY disease, or is this in the context of some specific
disorder?

(details might help us frame a better search strategy)
