Actually, on re-reading it a few times, I'm not sure I understand that
sentence. "not understand how our brains function in a way that
'attracts' their functioning to that which, through experience, has
become merely-familiar"?? HUH?
"Attracts their functioning"?? Our brains attract "their" (whose?)
functioning?? Attracts it "to that which, through experience, has
become merely-familiar"?? HUH?
Well, I don't understand this stuff (certainly not THIS stuff, i.e.
this opaque and meandering collection of odd phrases). Am I at risk of
murdering someone?
One more try at decoding: Our brain function makes our brains function
so as to do something or other with regard to what has become
"merely-familliar"--to be more attentive to what is familiar? Too
FUNCTION in a familiar way?? And if we are not aware of this we will
murder people??
I think this failure to communicate (this fundamental inability to say
something clearly and unambiguously) may explain your "house arrest"
and failure to persuade anyone in the scientific coommunity to ttake
you (much less your "ideas") seriously.
Maybe an editor or re-write man would help??
