Science is a process. It uses assumptions, provides a way
to create, test, and improve theories. It doesn't claim that
any theories are 100% accurate. Even its laws are really
only *strong* theories.
Scientific theories are not intended to be the 100% accurate
explanation of the universe. They are merely intended to be
reliable enough to be useful to obtain results in the real world
such as cooking your dinner or taking you to the moon.
Science is a process and requires no beliefs and is not a
religion. Some people build a religion using science as a
base, but that is not science anymore.
