TO THE LEADERSHIP OF CHINA:
As you know, the great strides China has made in the direction set down by
your enlightened leader, Mr. Deng, have been a cause for joy to me.
As you also know, I've worked, in my small way, to assist by sharing with
the Chinese people the fruits of my research.
I hope that I've not hesitated too long to comment on China's current
circumstances.
You've had to deal with two very-trying issuse in 'recent' days. First, the
destruction of your Yugoslavian Embassy during the Kosovo conflict, and then
Taiwan's recent position statement.
I ask you to have great patience in your hearts, because, without regard for
these two recent 'difficulties' with which you are confronted, your Nation
is, presently, deep in the midst of the great transition that was begun, in
earnest, by Mr. Deng.
You see, as is explained in the "Automation of Knowing..." manuscript (AoK),
the change that has swept your Nation has drawn the population of China into
the "zone of randomness" (AoK, Ap4). This is not a "bad" thing. It's just a
normal occurrence because of the way in which our nervous systems innately
process information.
There is some "difficulty", however, because when a population exists within
the "zone of randomness", individual reaction times are diminished and
individual reaction quantities are increased, both dramatically. So,
experiences that would normally not lead to any significant reaction will
tend to lead to disproportionately rapid and large reactions.
I ask you to pursue a deep understanding of this one thing, and I ask you
to, at all costs, resolve to guide your population with patient, deliberate
determination to focus =only= upon your population's journey to the "other
side" of the "zone of randomness".
Please do not underestimate the awesome accomplishment that's inherent in
doing this one thing =completely=. Your Nation's whole future depends upon
your completing well that which you so courageously began under the
leadership of Mr. Deng.
If you fail to guide your people successfully through the "zone of
randomness", the prospects are those of great tumult and societal
deterioration, that will not only lay all of your already great
accomplishment to waste, but set your Nation back tremendously.
Although my heart is with you, I do not come to you, in this message, solely
on China's behalf. I do so on behalf of all people, everywhere, for great
tumult in China will spread great tumult around the world, and your Nation's
tragedy will become everyone's tragedy.
People of good will, all over the world, are with you. Please focus on
finishing the work you've begun. See nothing but your determined, continued
journey to the other side of the "zone of randomness".
I will pray for your complete success.
Sincerely, K. P. Collins (ken)
