Or Athei-ism, the belief that there's no God.

That's certainly what it meant when I was at school. Of course that was
a while back.

How about people who just don't believe there is enought evidence either
way, rather than argue that evidence is inherently impossible.

(I'll grant you I tend to the former camp. I mean if some entity came to
me claiming to be God what evidence would I find conclusive? I can't
imagine.).
