Human brain, no I can't (although I'm sure there's info about this
available). But on a similar note, check out some papers by Simon B.
Laughlin at University College London. He's done very nice studies of
energy consumption in fly visual system, and has even arrived at
estimates of how much energy is required to convey a certain quantity of
informations: ergs per byte, that sort of thing.
