It is somehow clear to me that the 'firing of a neuron' prerequisites
a sufficiently large electric threshold that has been reached by the
incoming
signals. Now is there also a temporal threshold for theses signals?
I.e., a minimum
time at which the electric stimulation has to be maintained in order to
trigger
the firing?
