Warm blooded?

I would venture to say that low blood temperature is ambulatory on almost
all counts, except that I believe the number of microbes that can
proliferate under temperature conditions of low 90's F are higher than
those that can grow in low 100's F.  I have read in popular literature
that brains functioning at lower temperatures are actually more efficient,
for whatever that might mean.  Cooling the human nervous system has been
an evolutionary challenge...  (No references, just yammering) So quit
complaining.
