To further describe my situation I must say that I have been having the 
shin nerve trouble again. That has been happening since the root dressing.

One thing I think may have been happening is a transference of muscle 
tension from jaw to lower legs due to wearing a sports bite guard at night.

Some years ago I reported how I made a muscle potential sensing alarm to
wake me when I clenched my jaw. As I said at that time I was finding the
lower legs getting tension. 

This dead feeling at the moment gives the feeling in the skin nerves, 
even over quite a lot of the front left half of the head, under the hair, 
of having deadened sense like trying to hear with an ear plug in.

In terms of deafness I would say it is like the high frequency feeling 
being down some 50 dB.
