Maybe  better regard this as nonsense or guessing:


If you have different fields,
it depends on the fields,
and if your neurons are in the field.

If you sort have some cluster going active, it might play a role of it
is in the range of that or not.

The field power might have to do with what you ask.

But better check that out with folks into physics.

I just know that magically wiring out around / into another brain can
take me a while, and that the sort of connections established and the
ranges I tune to seem to have a lot do with transfer stuff.

Sectors have different wave-forms & pressures,
though they might work together,
(imagine different patterns making  a bigger one)
and if I should take a guess these waves and especially the pressures
in the sector have to do with your question - if I guessed it right.

(I do not exclude that if I were targetting somewhere or another it
making some "double-resonating-like" effects, too, changing stuff,
as also might  be changed by some stuff to do with memories, and glia
/ smaller stuff.)
