On Prejudice

Since today is the 135th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's _Gettysburg
Address_ (19 Nov, 1863), I thought I'd reflect on its stuff a bit.

"Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent,
a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that
all men are created equal.

"Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation or
any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a
great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that
field as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that
that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should
do this.

"But, in a larger sense, we cannot dedicate-we cannot consecrate-we cannot
hallow-this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here,
have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world
will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never
forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated
here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so
nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task
remaining before us-that from these honored dead we take increased devotion
to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion-that we
here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain-that this
nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom-and that government of
the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the

In our times, here in the U. S., we are locked in a Struggle that is
every-bit as Savage as was our Civil War... the "bullets", though
superficially-"invisible", are every-bit as Ruthless, and the stakes are
just as enormously-high... the very Existence of This Nation hangs in the
balance, and the scales are way-tipped by the ever-increasing numbers who,
Blind to the =Sacrifice= through which This Nation came into Being, are
climbing on-board the "get-mine" side of the Balance.

Lincoln's call to "ReDedication" Rings-True, even still... yet hardly
anyone responds in their "Hearts"... just =Look= at US... we Know-Not even
the most-"simple" Truth... almost no one carries any Awareness that, unless
we all ReDedicate ourselves, daily, This Nation slowly, yet inexorably,
slips away...

Just look at the current "debate"... look past the superficial "details",
into the collective "Heart"... hear the ever-augmenting "chorous", "Truth
doesn't matter." "It's not black-and-white, but 'gray'."

What is "gray"? It's, "I don't give a damn." It's, "I'll keep my 'options'
open."

What are "options"?

"Options" are behavioral alternatives... but they're =never= "gray"...
=everything= that one Chooses has unavoidably-attached-to-it
Consequences... and these Consequences are =always= only one, or the other,
thing with respect to Truth.

Draw nigh Truth, and everything functions better.

"move away from" Truth, and everything functions worse.

And, Given Life through our Choice, these Consequences spread throughout
This Nation =Never-Endingly=... spreading like stone-in-the-pond's
ripples... and they Sum, augmenting and subtracting.

And what we Live is that Summation.

"Just" =Look-and-See how, in our times, This Nation, born in such Terrible
Sacrifice has come to so-Scorn Truth...

...and see all the "ripples", through =Choice=, synchronized to be Biased
toward Deception.

This Nation!?

This Nation, Born in Blood and Hallowed?

=This Nation= Celebrates Deception?

The Perishing Against which Lincoln Called-Upon US to Stand-Frim has become
the Celebrated thing?

In =This Nation=, the "last full measure of devotion" is =Deception=?

Wake-Up... through our Choice, This Nation is slipping away from US.

Look-and-See how the Balance points... see the ripples become the wave that
washes away The Future purchased for US in Blood...

...through out =Choice=?

...we =Choose= such?

We =do so-Choose... each time we "move away from" seemingly-"unimportant"
Truth.

...for Truth Honors our Choice... =Always=. K. P. Collins

[For those who "wonder", this post is only peripherally-related to the
specifics of what I've brought before you. It's just me, Seeing through the
"Lens" of the Understanding, and Crying-Out to you in the hope that you'll
only Look-and-See, a bit, in whatever way you currently can do so. The
Chorous "sings", "Truth doesn't matter." Choose quickly, for, if that's
what you will Choose, such is about to become Codified...

...and everything that This Nation has ever been, and everything that it
could've become, will be Lost if This Nation "moves away from" Truth. Gotta
