The "Hard" way... by just caring enough to try to do that which would lead to Thought.

Nope... but I've noted its "monologue-ness", myself... it's all "old-long-since"... the turn
of events which has one "talking-with-one's-self" is nothing that one can do anything about,
is it? Still, this doesn't have anything to do with what one has to do, does it? So, I'll
"talk-with-myself" if I must... "solitary confinement's" no big deal... when I was at
Annapolis, the Superintendent of the Academy addressed the whole Brigade of Midshipmen... it
was with respect to the capture of the Pueblo by the North Koreans... the Admiral said, "It
can happen to you, and it can happen to me. But it won't if you're smart, and you plan
ahead." Excellent advice, in general. But that's not my point. I'm not "planning", although
everything is of-a-piece... I'm just trying to gauge what folks can take in, and sharing
it... and, yes, "jumping-through-some-'ridiculous'-hoops", so that folks'll feel "at ease", a
bit. I was at the Academy during the Viet Nam War. We carried our Captured Shipmates in our
"Hearts" as we went about our daily routines... I always wondered how I'd fair, if
Captured... turns out I don't have to "wonder" anymore... I'd've done "ok"... probably
wouldn't have "made it", but I would've left them with some lasting memories... as it's
written in Alfred, Lord Tennyson's, _Ulysses_, "[...] I will drink life to the lees [...]",
and (paraphrase) "it's better to wear out than to rust out".

What I'm doing is just continuing discussions that were all begun years ago... I'm writing
for those who've "kept up" with things, and for those who care to catch up. If no one
follows, I must still "move-on", because =that= Failure would be mine if I didn't.. because I
could've done something about it... which is what I'm doing, isn't it? I'm not saying "it's
pretty"... it always "goes south" as folks get "saturated". I understand. I have made it to a
"point" that I'd not yet reached with folks, though... that's something. ken collins
