Dear colleague(s),
I have obtained my PhD in Neurosciences in December 1997 at the
University of Paris XI (France); the topic of my thesis concerned the
study of the role of the dorsal striatum, of rats, in learning and
memory processes. Although my thesis focused on fundamental research, I
have also carried out some research in the field of behavioural
pharmacology (Roussel UCLAF Research Institute).
Besides my interest for fundamental research, I am also interested in
pharmacological research such as using various pharmaca in order to
restore functions following brain damage.
I am presently living, and until February 1999, in Amsterdam (The
Netherlands), where unfortunatly the post-doctoral project I was
supposed to work on failed to be carried out.
I am willing to work on a post-doctoral research project in the
field of behavioural neuroscience starting from March 1999.
All proposal are welcome and if you need any further information
concerning my CV and interests, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Cordially,
Dr. Barbara Van Golf Racht- Delatour (PhD)
