CEREBRAL ISCHEMIA POSTDOCTORAL POSITION. AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY.
We are looking for an individual with experience in experimental
models of cerebral ischemia. A background in neurochemistry or
molecular biology will be valuable. Our NIH-funded lab investigates
mechanisms of neuronal cell death and neuroprotection after ischemia
and hemorrhage. We use a multidisciplinary approach, including
quantitative histology, immunohistochemistry, in vivo microdialysis,
laser doppler flowmetry, electrophysiology, in vivo imaging, and
knockout preparations.
