I am new of the list and I am working as a clinical specialist
neurologist and a specialist medical psychologist.
Since about 20 years one of my interest is stress and related
neurochemical modifications.
From a clinical point of view, I supposed that the brain
uptake of choline was reduced in stress conditions, with an
increased synthesis of peripheral Ach.
Now I found references about an efflux of choline from brain
throughout the blood-brain barrier in stress conditions.
My questions:
Is there somebody who heard or read something about an
increased synthesis of peripheral Ach during stress conditions?
Who is the leading researcher on peripheral Ach?
Thanks in advance for any valuable help.
