"Abductions" DO NOT exist : a plea for restraint

It is tempting to "straighten out their thinking" or to show one's wit
and erudition the first time one of these nutty things is posted; but
surely one can overcome the temptation on second posting.

No matter how good your argument, it is pissing in the wind.

Those smart enough to appreciate it do not need it. It is wasted on
the others.

By responding--either "for" OR "against" you keep the thread going and
displace useful discussion and wastes the resources of the newsgroup.
"Bad money drives out good"--ditto dumb "discussions"; and they drive
out colleagues who might otherwise make this a worthwile newsgroup.

Please: restrain the impulse to reply to THIS or any other post
relevant to "abductions" etc. Let it die a merciful death.
