Now, while I admit that the main reason I subscribe to this newsgroup is for
the scientific information and speculation, the so-called +ACI-voodoo+ACI- stuff is
interesting, too. There are many things which science cannot explain+ADs- the
world wasn't round (in our minds) for a great many years. Acupuncture is
+ACI-voodoo+ACI- currently, simply because Western Science cannot account for the
connections between application and results.
IMHO, speculation is a very important part of initiating research, but even
more important is that we do not allow our skepticism to narrow our minds
too much.
