POST DOCTORAL POSITION IN BIOCHEMISTRY, CELL/MOLECULAR BIOLOGY
        A postdoctoral position is available in the 
Fishberg research Center in Neurobiology at 
Mount Sinai Medical Center, high atop
Central Park in the exciting heart of New York City 
providing a wonderful environment for both science and living.  
Requirements are a recent Ph.D., and previous experience in either:
protein chemistry, cell biology and/or molecular biology.

         GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The metabolism of bioactive peptides is one of the most 
prevalent and efficient modes of physiologic regulation.  
This research program involves examination of structure-
activity relationships of enzymes and their neuropeptide substrates
[opiates, reproductive and precursor peptides].
We have cell culture models in the laboratory as well as 
all the specific components to study the activity of the 
enzyme in vitro.  

The Department has spacious labs with state-of-the-art
equipment and new facilities.
