May I disagree? Although we don't have many postdocs here, I have
ever forwarded such resume to others who were looking for postdoc.
Posting resume this way is certainly a cost-benefitial way. I am not
sure what you mean by being "productive", but if we define it as
"success rate/cost in $$", this must be very productive. Even you
don't have to spend much time (see just to how many groups he has
posted this - I am not encouraging anyone posting to irrelevant
groups though).
