I am enclosing a copy of my Curriculum Vitae for your kind consideration
of the above mentioned position. At present, I am a Ph.D. student of the
Department of Autonomic Neuroscience, Division of Higher Nervous
Control, Research Institute of Environmental Medicine, Nagoya
University, Furo-Cho, Chikusa-Ku, Nagoya 464-01, Japan. My Ph.D.
research is on the Autonomic nervous activity during orthostatic
circulatory stress in human and is supported by the Ministry of
Education and Culture (MONBUSHO), Japan. The anticipated date of
completion of the Ph.D. is March 25, 1998. The research work involves
direct recording of sympathetic neural activity from human peripheral
nerve by the technique of microneurography. The microneurography is now
an important tool to measure sympathetic activity in conscious human to
know the reflex sympathetic responses to different kind of physical and
chemical stresses.
