The Magnetic Resonance Research Group, part of the Institute of Medicine
at the Research Center Juelich, invites applications for a postdoctoral
research position funded by the Hermann von Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft
Deutscher Forschungszentren (HGF)". Our research center is equipped with
a state-of-the-art echo-planar whole-body MRI scanner. Current
activities of the MR group include: Methodology development for
functional imaging and high speed spectroscopic imaging, radiofrequency
coil development, quantitation of functional MRI contrast mechanisms
using parametric imaging and computer simulations, investigation of
hemodynamic regulation and physiological noise, psychophysical research
of the visual and the auditory system, research in cognitive
neuroscience. The MR-group participates in multimodality studies using a
3D Position-Emission-Tomography scanner and a whole head
Magetoencephalography scanner located in house.
