Local and Regional science fairs are a great place for high school
students to display their work, and to get feedback from scientists in
the field. Science fairs usually occur in the spring, but the body
that oversees them (Science Service, which manages the ISEF -
International Science and Engineering Fair) requires extensive
paperwork to be completed prior to the start of research. Talk to
your high school science teachers about this, and if they don't have
the information check with teachers at other nearby schools.
Hope this helps,
