I would guess that lesions of the left auditory cortex would lead to
deficits in perceiving rhythm, since right lesions affect tone perception
and the left hemisphere is dominant for sequencing of actions.  I believe
I heard of some evidence for this in a neuropsych class.  As always, a
literature search is recommended...
