I don't know anything about this chat group or its stated purpose, but
is it possible that this is an online version of a Head Injury Support
Group? (I'm involved with the Brain Injury Association of NY).
If so, the guy may have been reporting a small but important step on
his way to regaining a normal life-style. It seems stupid only if you
have not been so humbled as to have to ask for and reach for small
things.
