Resolution of what, by whom? There are many ways to measure resolution.
These yield results ranging from a few arc-seconds to an arc-minute or so.
Individuals also vary widely. Some may have bar-gap resolutions of a
minute of angle or so --- others maybe a third of a minute. In any case,
eye resolution has nothing to do with the useful resolution of an optical
system, since such systems can produce, at the retina, anything the
designers deem useful.
