A new web page has been setup which is devoted to ion channel research.
In particular, potassium channels will be focused on, but sodium, calcium
and chloride channels will also be discussed. This page contains links to
current leaders in ion channel research, laboratories focusing on ion
channels, a current reference list of key ion channel papers as well as
links to other ion channel web pages and a full text review article
concerning critical pore residues of potassium channels and their role in
