"We now have conclusive evidence that the hypothalamus serves as a link 
between the vomeronasal organ (VNO) and the endocrine system in human 
beings..." Vomeropherins (i.e. pheromones) produce significant changes in 
plasma concentrations of luteinizing hormone and follicular stimulating 
hormone.
