Brain Reward System
How does the reward system work? What is a reward? or a punishment?. is
it pleasure? But the what is pleasure? or pain? much must be known about
the physiolgy of pain. Is as much known about the physiology of pleasure?.
What is the electrodynamics of pleasure?. what do electrons have to do
with pleasure? Similarly what is "satisfaction"? At first glance it would
appear that psychologically there are several types of pleasure. Erotic
pleasure would appear to differ from the pleasure of pride, or of
accomplishment, for example. Yet I cling to the notion all pleasure is the
same, or at least is controlled by the same electro-dynamics..
And what is rewarded? Actions? Is reward sensory? is reward from kissing
different from reward of being kissed? How does the brain rweard system
operate socially? Does reeward come from the action or the effect of the
action? From banging on the pot or hearing the bang?
