I have to get a few questions answered fairly quickly and was hoping
that someone could help me out.

If you have answers to any of the following questions, please reply to
pbaker at athena.mit.edu

What sensory cells are part of your brain?

What is the color sampling rate of the human eye? The black-and-white

What is the maximum spatial resolution of your eye? How many sensory
cells do you have in your eye? How many types of sensory cells do you
have in your eye?

What is the communication bandwidth from your eye and the visual
cortex of your brain? What is the bandwidth in the other direction?

How much of your brain surface is devoted to vision? To audition? To
touch? To smell? Which is the (phylogenetically) oldest part of your
brain? Which is connected most directly to the rest of your brain?
