I've read several "classic" discussions of how EEG signals originate
[Kandel, Niedermeier] and am not sufficiently grounded in electrical
theory [ahem!] to understand them. I understand the origins of signals
from cardiac cells just fine .. is it me, or is it the writing? Can
anyone steer me to a treatment of this material that doesn't read like my
VCR manual? <g>
