I have made arrangements for anonymous ftp access to the following
postscript files at the site mason1.gmu.edu:
-rw-r--r-- 1 820 0 177351 Apr 16 00:04 CambridgeFigs.ps
-rw-r--r-- 1 820 0 13972 Apr 15 23:07 CambridgeNote.ps
-rw-r--r-- 1 820 0 131813 Apr 15 23:13 CambridgeText.ps
-rw-r--r-- 1 820 0 31977 Apr 15 22:33 Emergence.ps
-rw-r--r-- 1 820 0 176170 Apr 15 22:31 Freeman.ps
-rw-r--r-- 1 820 0 58902 Apr 15 23:00 Mind.ps
They are in the directory /pub/ftp/herwin.
They do contain control characters, so set the option to BINARY. The
Cambridge files are the paper prepared for the 1990 Cambridge Conference
on modelling in archaeology (with cover note). Emergence.ps discusses
some simulation results on emergence, while Mind.ps addresses the
evolution of mind. Freeman.ps discusses the application of olfactory
system models to pattern classification.
