BioMOO has been very valuable to me. I have had the chance to meet
scientists from all over the world and have on-line realtime conversations
with them. Time can certainly be wasted, but the most intersting people
are programming useful "objects" with scientific applications. The
medium can allow for seminars and journal clubs in specific scientific
areas. How many people in your institution are doing research with just
your *particular* slant on them? The BioMOO allows you to discuss your
