NIH has recently issued an RFA for human fetal cell transplantation
using tissue from spontaneously aborted fetuses.
I have a friend who has been culturing tissue (muscle) from such fetuses
for some time.
He (and I, as a genetic engineer hopeful) would like to apply under
said RFA.
Problem is that neither of us have clinical contact with Alzheimer's
C
patients, Parkinson's Patients, or with neuron cell culture in general.
Therefore, we seek to collaborate with one (or more) interested in testing
the principles of fetal cell transplantation into such patients.
All serious inquiries welcome.
