Hello, Neuroscience World!
I am about to pick up the excellent Principles of Neural Science (Kandel ER,
Schwartz JH eds), currently available in its mammoth third edition, when a
colleague of mine muttered something about a new edition being available soon.
Being a poor graduate student and not wishing to buy an out-of-date version,
I am curious if this is true. The nice bookstore people I've talked to say
"no", but I've known them to be wrong before. I've noticed that the third
edition is 1991, and so much has happened since then I would not be surprised
if a new, fourth edition was indeed forthcoming soon.
Am I chasing a Holy Grail?
Thanks in advance,
StEpHaN!
