RESEARCH ASSOCIATE & POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS IN SYNAPTIC NEUROSCIENCE
Junior and Senior postdoctoral positions are available immediately and in the future to study synaptic neuroscience. Projects include (1) combining patch-clamp techiques and intracellular calcium measurements using video imaging and photon counting to study synaptic plasticity, (2) combining electrophysiology and site-directed mutations to study synaptic ion channels, (3) imaging of specific fluorescent ligands to study intact synapses in neuronal co-cultures or brain slices, (4) computer modelling to inv
estigate the relationship between the structure and function of synapses.
