There is a postdoctoral position available to study the
structure-function relationship of acetylcholine receptors
in the laboratory of Dr. Michael P. McCarthy here in
New Jersey on the campus of Rutgers University.
The project will utilize molecular cloning techniques to
do site-directed mutagenesis, expression cloning to
obtain the protein, and then electrophysiology of the
expressed receptors after insertion into bilayers.
