Although Pribram would like field potentials to affect neural processing,
Freeman appears to be closer to the orthodox position. Werbos suggests
that field-like things happen in the brain, but primarily because the same
equations apply. I came to much the same position when I examined
holographic models of the brain. My term was "pseudo-holography."
